Denver – September 27th, 2012
Eyes of the World has announced that it will host an abstract/contemporary art show and benefit at their City Park location on Thursday Sept. 27 from 5-9pm to celebrate the store’s first anniversary. July 2012 marked one year for the City Park location serving the vibrant City Park neighborhood. Eyes Of The World (City Park West) is located at 2036 E. 17th Ave. Denver, CO 80206.
To thank the neighborhood and give back to the community at large, the event will showcase nationally noted artists while raising money for one of our favorite local non-profits.
Artists include the four painters of Denver’s Brushstrokes Studio Gallery: John K. Harrell, Kelly Berger, Kit Hevron Mahoney and Anita Mosher. Sculptor Reven Marie Swanson will also display kinetic media at the event. Wine and refreshments will be served and there is no admission fee for this event.
“We couldn’t be more proud to present local artistic talent while raising money for local non-profits. It’s really important for us to use our standing as providers of professional eye care in Denver to give back to the community and help make it a better place,” said Channing Baird, owner/optometrist.
